Regional Show
The Seattle Trend Show is a regional apparel tradeshow serving
the Pacific Northwest area, specifically Washington, Oregon,
Idaho, Montana and British Columbia. Because of our regional
scope, we do not accept exhibitors who do not have a U.S.
address, with the exception of Canadian exhibitors.
Type of Show
Exhibitors at the Seattle Trend Show are primarily independent
sales representatives, many of which carry a number of apparel
or accessory lines. (There are a few reps who are employees of
a manufacturer.) The majority of their customers are
independent retailers, such as boutiques, gift shops,
small-town department stores, catalog businesses, etc. This is
an “order-writing” show, where the product is shipped at a
later date directly from the manufacturer, not “cash and
carry,” where buyers take product from the exhibitor at the
show.
It is also appointment-driven, so we recommend
calling ahead for appointments, using the buyer list sent out
to new exhibitors
Facility
The Greater Tacoma Trade and Convention Center is located at
1500 Broadway in downtown Tacoma. This state of the art
building has all the exhibition space on the 5th floor with
breathtaking water and mountain views from the prefunction
area. This facility has easy I-5 access and free WiFi.
Cost
Booths are constructed of pipe and drape, brought in by the
show decorator, GES. An unfurnished, uncarpeted 10' x 10'
booth is $325. A value package from GES consisting of a table,
two chairs and a wastebasket is $78.25 (pre-order price). You
may also bring your own equipment.
Booth Assignment
An
exhibitor’s booth location is determined by several factors:

Seniority
points of membership within PNAA
-
Category
of apparel (children’s, accessories, lifestyle, weekend,
after 5/intimate, collections, weekend, or men’s)
-
Rotation
of categories within the floor plan from show to show
-
Similarity
of product with neighboring exhibitors
-
Specific
written requests such as “next to” or “not next to” certain
other exhibitors, shared booth space, etc. (These will be
honored as much as possible, but of course not all can be.
A booth
assignment committee from the Pacific Northwest Apparel
Association, which produces the Seattle Trend Show, assigns
locations approximately 2 months prior to the show.
